Off to School

Well this morning came and went and I sent my little Bug off to school for the first time.

Daddy made him pancakes and sausage for breakfast while I ironed the fold marks out of his shirt (yes, I am that mom), then I put gel in his hair while he tried to stuff his mouth.  A little while later it was time to go wait for the bus.

Here he is, my oh-so-handsome little man.

Then it was time to get on the bus!  I only shed a few tears...mostly because I was upset that he sat all by himself.

 A few hours later (yes only a few - don't even get me started on my rant about the lack of full-day kindergarten in Utah), the happy boy jumped off the bus and told me all about his morning.  He was excited and hyper and loved every minute.  I can't believe he is so big already. <3
